Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her grandmother grew up in streets until she reached three years old, when she was adopted. Her adopted father, a Filipina-American who has a military background was white, and American. The woman claims that she, her adopted brother and their mother suffered abuse when they were children, until she joined the military. Her family lived with her uncle living in San Francisco for several months before moving back to Texas on her 13th birthday because of the requirement of her father to undergo bypass surgery. The physical attack was less severe, however she still dealt with the psychological abuse her father suffered at home. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she reached the age of 18. Poarch opened her TikTok account in April 202020. The account grew quickly to fame, amassing more than 40,000,000 followers within just eight months. Poarch uploaded a variety of videos, but her one that went on to become most popular was her rendition of Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. The video that zoomed showed her lip-syncing and jumping to the music in a rhythmic timing, went to the top of the charts. When she first became a member of TikTok and began to gain fame Poarch launched a YouTube channel and Twitter account. Poarch's rising fame peaked in November in 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two professionals Esports teams. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves have both expressed an interest in hiring the content creator to work under their respective brand.
